Day 1: Cochin – Munnar (130 Kms / 4 Hours):
On arrival at Cochin International Airport /Railway Station, our driver will greet and receive you. After that, depart for Munnar. Munnar is located at the confluence of 03 rivers as the very name signifies. The sprawling tea plantations and picturesque vistas make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South India. In between enjoy the scenic beauty, marvellous waterfalls, and high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. On the way to Munnar visit Cheeyappara&Valara Waterfalls. Arrive in Munnar and check in at the hotel. The day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

Day 2: Munnar:
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Munnar visiting Flower Garden, Mattupetty Dam (boating at own cost) Echo Point, Kundala Lake, The Tea factory&Tea Museum, The Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park; which is a 30-minute drive away from Munnar town. In the evening, you may enjoy the traditional dance form of Kerala namely "Kathakali" (at own cost). Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady (110 Kms / 3 Hours):
Today after breakfast check out of your hotel and drive towards Thekkady, the wildlife destination of Kerala. It’s also known as the spice bag of the state. You can enjoy a beautiful journey through the hills and valleys of Western Ghats to reach this jungle destination. Check into your hotel and later go for an amazing boat ride (On direct payment basis) in Periyar Lake which flows through the periyar tiger reserve. You will have a chance to spot the wild animals like Elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc. roaming on both shores. You may also get engaged with lots of other optional activities like Elephant Safari, Jeep Safari, and Bamboo Rafting etc. Later you may go for an optional Kathakali Show, Spice Plantation Visit or head to an Ayurvedic Massage Centre to rejuvenate your body (all activities at your own expenses). Day 4: Thekkady - Alleppey (140 Kms/4 Hours):
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Alleppey. Upon arrival, check into a houseboat/ hotel and relax for some time. A trip to Alleppey Backwaters which pass through local villages and palm trees is one of the most amazing experiences while you are in Alleppey. Admire the beauty of Kerala and enjoy the amazing views of backwaters of Alleppey. Overnight stay at the houseboat/hotel.

Day 5: Alleppey - Cochin (55 Kms/ 2 Hours):
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel/houseboat and drive to Cochin City. Upon arrival, check into a hotel and relax for some time. Later start the city tour visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese Fishing Nets, Marine Drive. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 6: Departure:

Day 1 - Cochin – Munnar (135 Kms/4 Hrs):
On arrival at Cochin, Meet your driver and get transferred to Munnar. Munnar, located in the Western Ghats, is a beautiful hill station which is famous for its sprawling tea plantations, sparkling waterfalls, winding roads and lush greenery. On the way, make pit stops at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls for some amazing pictures and tea/coffee/snacks which are available at small stalls near the waterfalls. Also stop at tea plantations enroute. On arrival at Munnar, check in the hotel. The day’s is free for leisure activities and feel the natural beauty of Munnar. You may also go to Munnar town to visit the local market. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

Day 2 - Munnar Sightseeing:
Today after breakfast get ready for sightseeing tour of Munnar which include visits to Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam Lake, Blossom Park, Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park famous for Nilagiri Tahr and Tea gardens. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

Day 3 - Munnar – Thekkady (110 Kms/3.5- 4 Hrs):
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady which is home to the country's largest Tiger Reserve- Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The town is also famous for natural Plantation of spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove etc. On Arrival, Check into the hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure or proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake within the sanctuary which is an extremely awesome experience and you might be able to spot herds of wild elephants, bison, wild boar, langur and various kinds of birds,etc. Afterwards, you may also enjoy experiences such as spice plantation tour (on direct payment basis), the traditional Kalari Show (on direct payment), Elephant Ride (on direct payment basis). Day 4 - Thekkady – Kumarakom /Alleppey (140 Kms/4 Hrs):
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Alleppey also known as the "Venice of the East" .It is a town with interconnected, backwaters, beaches, canals and lagoons and is famous for beautiful backwaters snake boat races. Cruising along the backwaters of Alleppey is an amazing experience to enjoy awesome views of coconut trees, green paddy fields, blue sky, and flocks of ducks floating on the water. On arrival, check in at the houseboat and enjoy the rest of the day in Houseboat. Overnight stay at the houseboat. Explore the beauty of nature while cruising along the backwaters of Alleppey. In case of stay at a hotel, visit the Mullakkal Raja Rajeswari Temple etc. You may also go on short boat cruise through the back waters (on direct payment). Today after breakfast proceed for excursion of Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of peninsular India, is the point where the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet. Visit Gandhi Memorial (Gandhi Mandapam) and temple of Goddess Kanyakumari (Bhagavathy Amman Temple). Catch a ferry (on direct payment basis) to visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue and witness beautiful sunset.Overnight stay at hotel in Kovalam.

Day 7 - Kovalam – Trivandrum (16 Kms /40 min):

Enroute visit Cheyyappara Waterfalls. Day 02 – In Munnar

Day 03 – Thekkady – 3.5 hrs drive
Morning drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110 kms / 3.5 hrs through cardamom hills. Check into the Resort. After lunch visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc… On way back to hotel you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Day 04 – Houseboat – 04 hrs drive

DAY 01 - ARRIVAL AT CALICUT - WAYANAD

Pookot Lake is a natural fresh water lake surrounded with evergreen rain forest. Boating facilities are also available here. Visit View Point and chain tree. Also known as Kozhikode, Calicut was the erstwhile capital of the Malabar region and a major centre for the spice trade. Its claim to fame is from the landing of Vasco Da Gama 15kms to the north in Kappad in 1498. It’s also the perfect place to enter Wayanad. Located in the north-east region of Kerala, Wayanad is a predominantly hilly terrain surrounded by Karnataka on the north and Tamil Nadu to the south-east. It completely lies in the green Western Ghats.
One of the best Wayanad tourist places is Pookode Lake. It’s a natural freshwater lake surrounded by a lot of greenery and has options for boating and cycling.

DAY 02 - WAYANAD
Have an early breakfast and leave for Kuruwa Dweep. Kuruwa Island is 955 acres of green forest along the banks of the tributaries of the east flowing Kabini River. This island is uninhabited and a paradise with myriad birds. Proceed to Muthanga wildlife sanctuary. You can find here spotted deers, elephants, bisons, leopards, tigers… etc. It is 25 kms. Drive inside the sanctuary exploring wildlife and return to hotel in the evening. Overnight at Adithya Lake Resort - Ruby Villa
Wayanad is a delight for those who love greenery. Be it the rolling hills or the tropical forests, Wayanad is surely going to be a treat for the eyes. Some of the tourist places near Wayanad are Vythiri, Kalpetta, Sultan Bathery, and Meppadi.
Of the many Wayanad places to explore, you can check out the Kuruva Islands. Located on the Kabini River, it’s a melting pot for rich flora and fauna. You will find different kinds of birds such as hornbills and parrots, insects such as butterflies, and plants such as orchids. Another beautiful place to observe if you’re a wildlife enthusiast is the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s an integral part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and abounds in wildlife such as elephants which you’ll see roaming around freely, tigers sometimes, deer and monkeys.
